Before your visit

Yes, but please let us know when you book.

No, you don’t need a learner’s permit. But we who provide Risk 2 want you to be able to drive the car independently.

Yes, you do! For us to be able to report to the Swedish Transport Agency that you have completed your risk training with a pass, you need to show valid Swedish ID at the start of the course.

Unfortunately, we don’t offer food, but Bromma Golf’s restaurant is nearby and is open during the season.

Risk 2 (Skidpan) is the second part of two risk training courses and is mandatory to get a driving licence.

You’ll practise things like slalom driving between cones, braking exercises—learning how braking distance is affected on both slippery and dry roads—cornering on a slippery bend, and an evasive manoeuvre (swerving to avoid an obstacle). Read more about the exercises here.

The best preparation for the Skidpan is to have done plenty of practice driving. The most important thing is to follow the instructions from our instructors and stay focused, and everything will go fine.

During the skid driving session, you’ll be in the car with the instructor who guides you, along with other students. Max 4 students per instructor and car. On the Skidpan, you take turns driving on the slippery surface. The driving is divided into several different parts that you practise.

Yes, if you don’t meet the training goals—which is rare. It could be that you don’t listen to the instructor’s instructions, don’t keep to the speed, or mess around in the practice area. You can also fail if you and the instructor can’t understand each other due to language difficulties.

Yes, you can choose the order you want to do the risk training courses in. However, it’s recommended to take Risk Training Part 2 towards the end of your training, since it requires you to be able to handle the car. That way, you’ll be better prepared for Risk Training Part 2. Both courses must be registered with the Swedish Transport Agency before you can take the theory and driving tests.

No, we provide the cars, and it’s included in the price.

No, you don’t need to be enrolled at a driving school to book—you can easily book your Risk Training Part 2 here.

Risk 2 costs from SEK 2,100.

You can easily book Risk 2 via our booking page.

Once your Risk Training Part 2 is approved, we report it directly to the Swedish Transport Agency. You can then continue with your driving licence training without any further steps.

No, we submit electronic reports to the Swedish Transport Agency every day. So you don’t need to do anything yourself.

The validity of Risk 2 (Risk Training Part 2) expires on the day you get your driving licence, or is valid for a maximum of five years.
